Anyway, what happened was this. Many years ago, my brother decided he wanted to engage in homosexual behavior. I am not sure what led him to make this decision. My parents were warm and loving. But he decided to turn his back on the values we had been taught and chose to engage in homosexual behavior. I will never forget the day this all came down. It was one of the worst moments in my life!

Somehow the devil had entered into my brother’s life. It was such a trauma to my family. My brother, through his own choices, put my mother in such a position that she had to literally spit in his face. It put my poor father in such a position that he had to beat up my brother and literally throw him out of the house.

I cried and cried! My big brother had always been such a hero to me. He was my protector. He would always walk me home from school and he would protect me from all of the more liberal girls who walked home by themselves in their short skirts and flirty ways. Those girls seemed like they would attack me at any minute. But not with my brother along! He was my guardian and protector. We would talk about all kinds of things; the bible, our futures, our likes and dislikes. I remember another time he gallantly offered to help me shop for a prom dress, even though I know boys don’t like to shop. He was a true gentleman all the way and actually gave me some pretty good advice on what to wear (I used to blame myself for this as I worried it may have led him to engage in homosexual behaviors).

I don’t know what happened to Stanford or where he got the idea to engage in homosexual behavior, but our relationship was ruined by his choices. As a family, we had to totally cut him out of our lives! He caused us such pain, it is difficult to think about now.

But now, Stanford has repented! He has gone through reparative therapy and is ready to give up the behaviors which caused our family such grief. He is back! It’s like that story in the bible about the kid who went out and lived a loose lifestyle and then came back home to be greeted warmly by his father. That is what our family is like. We are greeting our own prodigal son and brother!

My whole family is going over to his house for dinner soon. I have not yet had a chance to talk to him, but I’m going to give him a big hug when I do. Thank God that he was able to turn his life around. This is a big shout out to God!

Ann Coulter is my soul mate. She speaks the truth and defends the true values of this country! She has worked hard to get where she is. She just makes her living off her books and personal appearances (which are in high demand, thank you very much). There is no woman I would feel prouder of being a Republican than Ann Coulter. She is a clear thinker, truthful, and has a wonderful sense of humor. Something Meghan McCain must have lost as she was sucking on her silver spoon!

Back off Ann, Meghan. Or we will throw down and I will win!

Anyway, Leon was like, well, why don’t you just blog about it. Oh my gosh! I was so excited I jumped right out of bed and ran to the computer. Here I sit now writing the blog. Now this isn’t the post that I’m talking about, but I just wanted to give all my loyal fans a heads up to look out for a new post entitled “A guide to maintaining your virginity pledge.” But right now, I’m freezing and either need to put some clothes on or get back into bed. Last night I attended my second bible study. I got there early, but Stephony was already there sitting right next to Pastor Mark. I think it’s so clever that Pastor Mark is leading a bible study on the Book of Mark! Anyway, we talked a lot about temptation and how to avoid temptation. I talked a lot about my virginity pledge and I was really honest you guys! I didn’t act like it was easy to keep. No, I talked about the temptations that cross my path every day. The mailman, the guy on the street corner selling hot dogs, the teller at the bank, the doorman. These are all temptations that I have to deal with every day!

So as I was talking about this, all of a sudden Stephony began crying! Can you believe that? She totally interrupted me and all of a sudden everyone in the room was paying attention to Stephony! She is so selfish. She just wants all of the attention for herself. Did some liberal group send her here as a plant? Anyway, Stephony talked about how she has faced temptation in life and that sometimes she has not always been successful in fighting against it. Figures!

So all of a sudden almost everyone in the bible study group is gathering around Stephony telling her not to feel bad and that God loves sinners and that everything will be ok because she is talking about her sinful nature in bible study! Do the virtuous get any credit nowadays. Apparently not since the liberal media has taken over our souls and the socialists have taken over the country! This is just one example of how such things affect every individual in our beloved country.

Well, then Pastor Mark launches into a prayer and it is all about Stephony. Bless Stephony and heal her wounded heart, yada yada, yada. To tell you the truth, I think she made up most of what she said just to get attention. Oh make no doubts, I have no trouble believing she’s a sinner. But the dramatic way in which she presented her sins leaves a lot of doubt in my mind if you know what I mean. So anyway, after the prayer is over, Stephony’s tears have dried and I’m hoping it’s over and we can get back to talking about my efforts to avoid temptation. But you know what happened you guys? Pastor Mark offered to give her a private baptism after the bible study! So everyone encourages her and she agrees. And then the bible study ends! They seem to have forgotten all about me.

The only consolation in this sad story is that one of the bible study group members, Leon, stopped me and asked me out for coffee. He said he really respected what I had to say and wanted to know more about how I deal with temptations, but still managed to honor my virginity pledge. Well at least someone was listening. Oh, I know God was listening also. But God doesn’t take you out for coffee if you know what I mean.

Well hopefully, Stephony has gotten all the sin our of her system and we can actually study the bible next week instead of having the whole hour devoted to the Stephony confessional show. Until then, remember to say no to higher taxes!

Some are making excuses for the president’s wife by comparing her with Jackie Kennedy! While I am not a fan of Ms. Kennedy, I must say, Michelle Obama, you are no Jackie Kennedy! Ms. Kennedy was of fine lineage and went to select schools. She was part of society. Her fashion sense was genetic, not learned. What worked for Jackie Kennedy will not work for Michelle Obama. Trust me.

This sleeveless look she is trying to promote is just one more example of how the liberal faction is leading us down a path of moral decline and debauchery. Next thing you know, we will be accepting bestiality as an accepted form of alternative living! And the liberal media plays right into their hands by putting Michelle’s bare arms on the cover of magazines and newspapers everywhere. I fear for our country. The liberal media repulses me and I am not alone in this sentiment. Do not be surprised if there is an uprising over the liberal media by good, decent, Americans who are unwilling to accept their lies and abject moral standards any longer.

The media need to stop criticizing Rush Limbaugh and start criticizing Michelle Obama. I like Rush and think he’s a sweetie, but let’s be honest, he’s not particularly……….attractive. There’s a reason he’s on radio! Not that Rush needs to be movie star beautiful. His sharp intellect is enough to make any woman swoon. But let me tell you one thing. Rush would not be caught dead sleeveless! This proves he has more class than Michelle Obama or any other liberal.

You guys, I know times are tough, what with the biggest tax increase in our country’s history and the financial crisis created by congressional liberals. But please, can someone buy this woman some sleeves?!?!

These verses, first, point out the importance of baptism. Even the Christ, in his own perfection, needed to be baptized to enter the kingdom of heaven. But even more importantly is the fact that God has chosen him, his only son, to carry forth the word on Earth. This is right because God was the one who created heaven and earth and therefore, his son should carry the mantle. Jesus has been anointed as the holy one.

Yet it is the last line which we must all pay most attention to. “You are my dearly beloved Son, and you bring me great joy.” I think it is important that we all pause and reflect to see if our thoughts and our actions bring God great joy. For if they do not, then change is needed. I am not talking about the type of change offered by our current presidential administration. Such changes are displeasing to God and are an abomination.

The changes I am talking about is turning back to the values and behaviors which creates joy in God. Traditional heterosexual marriage, small government, and placing God above science are all things which create joy for God. When we engage in the practices of secular humanism such as murdering children, bankrupting their future, and using their precious bodies for stem cell research, we are creating not just sadness in God, but also anger. When we create sadness and anger for God, we are not following in the footsteps of the Christ. Instead we are treading our own path; a path which can only lead to ruin and destruction. So as we move forward in our lives, remember to engage in only those behaviors and activities which create joy, not disappointment, sadness, and anger, in our beloved God.

It was so spiritually elevating to be learning the bible with Pastor Mark. The other group members seem great too. There is one annoying woman, Stephanie, who seems to be in the group solely to seek out attention from Pastor Mark, rather than having any real desire to learn about the bible. I’m not sure how she got in the group, but I expect that it will not take long before Pastor Mark sees through her and she is expelled from the group.

She is like that stupid girl in school who was raising her hand constantly to answer questions. She pouts when Pastor Mark doesn’t call on her and she rolls her eyes when other people are explaining their interpretation of the verses! How childish and immature! Anyhow, I’m not going to let her presence ruin the bible study group for me. Like I said, I don’t think she’ll last long and I’m a big enough person to be loving and forgiving in her presence.

My number one pet peeve of the week is that people are trying to say Piyush Jindal’s comments about his role in hurricane Katrina were false. As noted on one blog, it’s just a bunch of liberal blog B.S. How low will these people stoop anyway? He, not Osama, er sorry I mean Obama (hee hee), is the messiah to look out for. If he can stand the onslaught from the liberal media, he will be out next president. I hope it’s not too late. Where are all of the conservative bloggers on this issue? I have searched far and wide and no one except me seems to be speaking out against this liberal travesty! Come on Conservatives. We can do better than this for our man Piyush!!!

I couldn’t get away to go to this year’s CPAC convention and this has me totally bummed! Just reading the accounts and seeing some of the videos on the web has fired me up. The Republican Party and the modern conservative movement are back in a big way! I am especially sorry that I couldn’t make it to hear Ann Coulter’s question and answer session. I get so tired of people questioning whether Ann is good or bad for the party. This is such a non-issue, non-question, that I can’t believe any real American would question Ann’s loyalty and importance to the conservative movement. I consider Ann to be my soul sister! You go girl!

Finally, I’d like to offer my condolences to myself and all the other people who have worked so hard all of their lives only to see their hard earned money eaten up by the latest tax increases to fund the financial raping of our grandchildren! I am so sick of everyone picking on the “rich.” God blesses those who bless themselves people. If you are poor, this is due to your own laziness and sloth. Instead of whining about extending your unemployment benefits, get out there and get a job like the rest of us have to do. It is not my responsibility that you were not productive enough to keep your job. It is your OWN FAULT! And while you’re at it, quit complaining about bankers and their salaries. Bankers are what makes the whole financial system run. It is an incredible responsibility and it must be properly rewarded. I’m sorry if you don’t like the view from your little cubicle, but maybe you should sharpen your skills instead of whining about your little petty jealousies.
